NEW YORK, NY, July 2008 / Rosie Pope, founder and president of Rosie Pope Maternity, is a true visionary with the philosophy that women should look and feel beautiful before, during and after pregnancy. Rosie Pope has revolutionized maternity style and society’s perception of pregnant women by taking maternity fashions to the next level by launching a truly high-end Maternity brand.

Rosie’s entrepreneurial success is based on instinct and experience, Born in London and after posting various academic awards at Secondary School and studying with the youth division of The London Contemporary School of Dance, Rosie earned a place at Edinburgh Medical School at 18 years old. Instead of pursuing a career in medicine she auditioned and was accepted to come to New York and Dance at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. During her training as a professional dancer, she also modeled extensively to include working with Steven Miesel and Italian Vogue. After injury, Rosie re-entered the academic world to study Neuroscience at Columbia University. Rosie is now the founder and President of Rosie Pope Maternity.

Rosie Pope’s objectives is to give pregnant women the chance to purchase the same types of sophisticated, elegant ready-to-wear and couture clothing they were used to buying before they became pregnant,  this then promotes an exciting and sexy time in these women’s lives.  Rosie Pope rejects the idea that during your pregnancy is not the time to spend money on quality clothing that makes you look and feel fabulous.  Women have no problem spending on their wedding dress that they will only wear for one day because that day is so important to them.  Rosie Pope believes that the 40 or so weeks of pregnancy should not be any different and is equally if not more of a special time in her life than her wedding day.
