http://www.surrogacy.com, the premier site for information on all things surrogacy to over 56,000 unique visitors every month, is proud to announce it is celebrating its 12th year.
In 1996, Joan Barnes, the mother of two sons born through gestational surrogacy (the elder of which was the first child born through surrogacy in the state of Georgia), founded The American Surrogacy Center (TASC) to help others with infertility issues. This website, http://www.surrogacy.com, was born in March of 1996 for the primary purpose of disseminating information on the third-party reproductive options of surrogacy and egg donation via the internet and world wide web.
The American Surrogacy Center promotes the exchange of information on medical and pharmaceutical treatments, surrogacy alternatives, current legal status, counseling, medical and legal practitioners, agencies and similar societies, as well as providing a forum for those requesting and providing information.
Dedicated to fostering surrogacy as a family building option for those who suffer from infertility, TASC would like to thank all of the surrogacy professionals who have helped to support the site with their sponsorship throughout the last 12 years.
