Religitech Records, a small Label located in Raleigh, N.C. announces the release of its newest product targeting kids and adults who wish to learn to play piano and other musical instruments at a faster pace than traditional methods. It shows the general public where to go online to access a huge catalog containing 1000s of free music lessons including piano, guitar, and drum training demonstrations for free. Many of these lessons are taught by world class musicians. These lessons are valued at over $15,000 and covers most band instruments.
"The internet has made it possible for anyone to learn just about anything they desire to learn for free," says Bernette Williams, the company's president. "Music lessons covering a variety of styles and instruments are easily accessible and free to the public if they know where to find them. I wish I had access to this information the first time I sat down at the piano 3 decades ago. It would have saved me thousands of hours in study and practice time," Williams added.
Religitech released a 12 DVD Piano By Ear Home Study Series For Beginners back in February, 2008. The 12 DVD series was designed to teach short cuts to playing music. It covers a variety of topics including theory, scales, chord construction, chord progressions, ear training and transposing. The course and the new video were produced by Bernette Williams and Charlene Williams who wanted to offer alternative methods of learning music.
"I found myself learning to play piano without any formal training or assistance during my teen years. I was able to play just about any song I heard on bass, guitar and piano. I figured out rhythmic patterns for a variety of music genres and saw them crossing over into other styles of music. The same chord progressions used in gospel were also used in blues, country and pop. I just want to show people how easy it is to learn," Williams added.
The company released several other products in the past including a Comedy CD titled "Bernette Williams featuring Ol' Billy Bob." It also released several inspirational audio books including "200,000 Demons On The Beach," and "A Cruise Ship Called life."
