American Deer & Wildlife Alliance Debuts New Conservation Messages

June 6, 2008 - PRLog -- AUSTIN, Texas — Developing a national voice for wildlife, the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance™ (ADWA) has announced it will sponsor a year-long series of conservation messages on Keith Warren’s Outdoor Adventures show on the Outdoor Channel and on Keith Warren’s Hunting & Outdoor Adventures Classics on the Versus network, beginning in July 2008.

The video messages will feature outdoor television celebrity Keith Warren and air varied topics such as land fragmentation, habitat management, hunting issues, and much more. With the combined broadcast strength of the Outdoor Channel and Versus, ADWA’s messages could reach more than 70 million households this year.

“ADWA was founded to promote our members and to increase participation within the deer and wildlife industries as a whole, and that’s one of the primary goals of our broadcast messages,” says Annie Jones, director of operations of ADWA. “We want to help educate people on the consequences of land fragmentation, the systematic loss of habitat for our American wildlife and, perhaps even more importantly, we want to encourage our kids to get outdoors so they can perpetuate a connection with nature and wildlife.”

The ADWA video messages will also be available as public service announcements for use by industry allies, sponsors and supporters. The messages will be accessible on the ADWA website (www.deerwildlifealliance.org) after each message is first aired by the networks.
