Mary Elyn Bove, a practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, has launched a Web site, www.HealingHighRiseInc.com. The site was designed by Alex Roys, a designer at Lakenetwork LLC, a Web site development company in Eastlake, Ohio.
Ms. Bove launched the site to expand her counseling practice beyond a clientele local to her base in Wickliffe, Ohio, as consultations can be held over the phone. By using a Web site, her business is virtually geographically unlimited.
EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture and can be described as acupuncture without needles. It’s used to release negative emotions and bring healing from physical or emotional problems. The process involves stimulating energy meridian points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process is easy to memorize and is portable so a client can do it anywhere. EFT was introduced in 1995 by Gary Craig, a Stanford engineer in lifelong pursuit of personal well-being.
