HeroBox.org is a non-profit organization that sends custom care packages to American soldiers around the world. Our mission is to make the lives of our brave heroes more comfortable as they protect our freedoms. HeroBox started as the simple effort of supporting one Hero, specialist Evan Housley; a son, brother and husband deployed to Iraq in late 2007. As we began to send him care packages, we immediately realized the volume of basic and essential items the troops needed. We also realized that many soldiers did not have a strong support system and were not receiving the essential items, much less the comfort items.
HeroBox launched an online presence on Memorial Day (05/26/08) that will allow the public to purchase HeroBoxes which are sent to the brave men and women of the American military. HeroBox offers multiple ways to support American soldiers including the purchase of a HeroBox, stickers, monetary and supply donations as well as volunteer efforts.
