Skilled engineers and sophisticated designers came up with the Hack Attack'
s three-wheel design that is able to throw softballs in nearly every direction including a curve or rise ball. Sports Attack was founded by Doug and Rita Boehner, Kurt Brenner and Amanda Pratt and and is a family owned and run business. Each pitching machine is constructed by hand at the Sports Attack facility – all welding, design and testing is done right there in the shop by 15 employees. Though the company is small, Sports Attack has a quick turnaround time. The company builds the orders as they come in and are able to make one machine a day and ship it off the following day. s popularity, schools like Arizona State, Oregon State and Cal Berkeley use the machines. Not only does Sports Attack build the Hack Attack and JR Hack Attack for softball, but they also make baseball pitching machines, tennis ball machines and volleyball hitting machines as well.
