When recovering stolen technology from Vietnamese industrialist Dac Minh, Colton obtains evidence that Minh secretly partnered with U.S. Senator Arthur Paxton to rig the recent presidential election and elect Paxton to the nation’s highest office.
Colton goes to Washington to verify if the information is correct and once he does will ultimately try to stop Paxton from becoming president before the January 20th inauguration ceremony through the assistance of allies he meets and the Washington political scene is turned upside down as Colton confronts a megalomaniac’
Heath states that although his story is fictional, it could certainly be taken from today’s headlines of dictators across the world contemplating the destruction of our society so we must remain vigilant in keeping our freedoms.
“I enjoy writing the action oriented fiction story because I can take the readers to places, timeframes and settings that they could never go in the real world,” he added. “You can put anything in the reader’s mind that projects a unique image to that person. I want to portray an action setting and intrigue in a story that is entertaining to the reader.”
Terry Heath grew up in Oklahoma where he graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in journalism. After a career in the entertainment industry writing humorous material for the nation’s top comedians and radio disc jockeys he turned serious with his first novel. He lives in southern California, busy at work on a series of action adventure novels.
“The years I spent growing up always involved the reading of books, whether they were fiction or based on true events, as long as they were adventure oriented and involved a protagonist hero,” the author stated. “And I also realized at that young age that although television shows and motion pictures are entertaining, neither of those visual formats can be as good as the written word in telling a story because in the printed form you can use your own imagination in visualizing the events you are reading.”
Heath says he enjoys writing the action oriented fiction story because he can take the reader to places, timeframes and settings that they could never go to in the real world because a writer can put anything into the reader’s mind that projects a unique image to that person.
