Association for Learning Technology (ALT) appoints first Director of Development

Mark van Harmelen will join the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) as its first Director of Development in May.

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 30, 2008 – Dr van Harmelen gained his PhD in Computer Science at the University of Manchester, where he was formerly a Lecturer and a Research Fellow. Mark has also been a Cabinet appointee in South Africa, where he was responsible for aligning stakeholders and planning a national institute for ICT tasked with assisting in socio-economic change and later established as the Meraka Institute.
