Wolf Technical Services, Inc., Hires Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer joins engineering firm to implement innovative technologies in the field of avionic safety.
 
April 23, 2008 - PRLog -- Indianapolis, IN. – Wolf Technical Services, Inc., a full-service forensic engineering corporation, welcomes Artur Katny as a Mechanical Engineer to the Research and Development Division. Katny, who by degree and experience is qualified in engineering and physics, will focus his skills in design, development, analysis, testing and quality control efforts at Wolf.  His responsibilities will include implementing innovative technologies in the field of avionics safety.

Katny joins the Wolf team from Focus Surgery, Inc., Indianapolis, where he was the product development engineer.  He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.

Mike Pepe, Wolf’s president and CEO, said the addition of Katny to the Wolf team will strengthen the company’s core focus while enhancing the company’s future plans.

Artur is already making valuable contributions with specific engineering work and broader contributions to Wolf alike.”

Among his many accomplishments, Katny has been recognized for his academic achievements in addition to his inclusion on several patents, including two in the development of high intensity focused ultrasound or HIFU.  

Katny said he is looking forward to his work on Wolf’s “cutting edge” military projects that will have a direct impact on soldier safety.

“The main focus at Wolf has always been forensic engineering and the knowledge base is simply one of a kind,” Katny said.  “I am excited to learn and be involved with some of the most experienced personnel in the forensic world and explore engineering through a new perspective.  

“I love being challenged with new obstacles to overcome and in this environment they are everywhere I turn,” he said.   “Wolf has an extraordinary staff and I feel privileged to have been given an opportunity to work with the organization.”

Katny lives in Ingalls with his wife, Angela.
