Apr 20, 2008 – AltusLumen, a new brand, aiming to offer extraordinary professional light, first enter flashlight market by developing TRI-L Magnesium Rechargeable LED Light which features 3D 360 degree hinge, distinctive foldable tripod shapes and dual light sources to allow engineer to free their hand in area lighting as well as lighting in between the crevice or anywhere that extra light is required.
The housing of TRI-L is constructed of magnesium, a metal which is rare to used for flashlight, is 1/3 lighter than aluminum. Weighting only 140grams and foldable to pocket size 110x60x20mm, TRI-L is perfect to carry.
TRI-L features two light sources: Narrow Beam Spot Light is good for searching.
while Wide Beam Area Light is good for general tasking. The runtime is around 1.8hours for Area Light and around 8 hours for Spot Light once the battery is fully charged. The runtime can be extended with an optional extended battery pack.
TRI-L is built-in Li-ion Rechargeable battery and adopts intelligent power management for its dual light sources- Area light will flash for 30 seconds to alert engineer while Spot Light can still last for 10minutes and flash for 30seconds lastly before battery runs out. The Area Light will be automatically off if TRI-L is wrapped up.
