Alison Samuel, from Antur Insurance Services Ltd, recently completed an Insurance Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship with t2 business solutions.
The Insurance Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship consists of an Insurance NVQ, a Cert CII technical certificate and key skills. The NVQ proves competence in the role, while the Cert CII provides knowledge in the field.
Antur Insurance Services is the largest general insurance broker in West Wales, and deals with all types of business and personal insurance. With four staff members having recently completed t2’s Insurance Modern Apprenticeship, Gary Stevens, Director of Antur Insurance, is impressed with what it has brought to the company.
He said: “Antur are currently looking to promote ourselves as the most professional broker in South Wales. Therefore, it is vital to us that all client facing employees are qualified and able to confirm their technical competency as this is a requirement of the Financial Services Authority. This apprenticeship is an excellent way of an employee proving they have all the necessary technical and business skills to succeed in our business.”
“The Cert CII is a recognised qualification in the Insurance industry, and has provided Alison with thorough knowledge and understanding of the field. The key skills have also developed her communication skills, IT skills and competence in general insurance.” added Gary Stevens.
Alison said: “I am very happy that I passed and achieved the NVQ Level 3 and Cert CII. The exams were interesting and enjoyable and the qualifications will help me go further in my career.”
