Versatile Atlanta Record Label Reinvents Itself!

Volume Records is a powerful independent label based in Chamblee, GA.  Volume and it’s workforce have labored with such groups as: Isaac Hayes, BarKays, Dungeon Family, MC Hammer, New Edition, LL Cool J, Lil’ Jon, Dallas Austin, TLC, Platinum Souls and many more.  Recently Volume Records has launched three breathtaking debut albums featuring a Christian contemporary artist and two holy hip-hop artists’  Once again demonstrating that there is no limit to the production, song writing and overall technicality of this label.  

The three new projects are unlike anything Volume has ever produced.  CEO, Moe Jackson, states “Working with these two genres has been mentally, emotionally and spiritually life-changing.  I will never look at music in the same way again.”  Christian Contemporary artist, Gail Moore, has extensive experience in not only known in the Christian genre but was originally in the secular world as she sang back up for acts such as: Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson.  As she was stirred to follow her calling and move to Christian music she performed with Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith to name a few.  Volume’s Holy Hip-Hop artists’, Tae Greene and Samantha Coleman are already proving to be dominant forces in the gospel music world as their Christ inspired lyrics and stunning beats are touching lives everywhere!  

Volume Records was established in 1994 .by production expert Moe Jackson originating from Memphis, TN.  Jackson’s music career began as a teen-ager at Ardent Studios in Memphis.  Volume has consistently held it’s own as one of Atlanta’s top studios and labels for genres including r&b, rap, hip-hop, pop and jazz.  However, as Mr. Jackson has grown not only in business and music knowledge he has also had a yearning to make music that changes people’s lives which will not only entertain their ears for a moment but transform their spirits for a lifetime.  

Volume Records functions as an indie label in addition to a fully operational production studio and rehearsal studio.  Some of the services offered are: production, engineering, artist consultations, legal advisement, graphics and songwriting. Artists’ originating from this prevailing label have performed locally, state wide and over seas.
