By: HEF1 Christmas is joy and gladness, green trees and children's bright-eyed faces reflected in frosted windowpanes. Christmas is families and feasts and presents and love. Much of the pleasure of Christmas lies in giving - a gift of music or music memorabilia. On December 1st the Music Memorabilia Show will feature all kinds of Christmas records, including Bing Crosby's White Christmas, Gene Autry singing Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, James Brown's LP Santa's Got A Brand New Bag, Mario Lanza singing Christmas carols, Christmas with the Platters LP, Phil Spector's Christmas Album, and Mr. Santa's Boogie LP with Charlie Parker's White Christmas, Big Maybelle's Silent Night and so much more. The Little Drummer Boy is available and Jimmy Boyd singing I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus provides more memories. Also included are original Music Box Melodies of Christmas, Christmas with the Chipmunks etc. Spoken word LPs include Lionel Barrymore as Scrooge in Dickens' A Christmas Carol. There is Paul Robeson, and Ella Fitzgerald singing on A Swinging Christmas. Hundreds of gospel music, spirituals and religious hymns and choir music on record and in sheet music are included.
