May 14, 2007 - PRLog -- CLEVELAND (May 14, 2007) - Thousands of Cleveland Municipal School District students will display their talents at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum for the 8th Annual All-City Arts Festival: Rock Your World.  The festival will be held on May 19, 2007, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The 8th Annual All-City Festival offers more than 3,000 students from across the District the opportunity to demonstrate their talents to the entire Greater Cleveland community. The daylong Festival features the best work from the District's choir, instrumental music, marching band, visual art, dance, and theatre programs. Additionally, visitors will have the chance to see excerpts from this year's All-City Musical: Guys and Dolls.

“After another overwhelming success at last year’s event, the Museum is proud to host Rock Your World once again,” said Terry Stewart, president and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. “It’s gratifying to see the students of the Cleveland Municipal School District demonstrate such a great appreciation for the arts. The Museum is proud to provide these exceptional young people with the opportunity to showcase their talents.”

Tony Sias, Director of Arts Education for the District says, “Rock Your World is the most energized event of the year in Cleveland Municipal Schools. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the entire city to experience the creativity, energy and talent the school district has to offer. It’s a showcase of talent for the families, friends, and community to enjoy.”

More than 8,000 people attended last year’s festival, and this year an even larger crowd is expected.  Art lovers from all walks of life are encouraged to attend and support the outstanding creative efforts of our community’s talented young people. This year’s All-City Arts Program is enhanced through the generous support of the Human Fund, a new foundation dedicated to supporting arts programs for Cleveland’s children.
