True Blue Coffee Roasters, located in the mountains of Eastern West Virginia, recently
announced their intention to begin selling their products nationwide. “We are very
excited about this venture, and are looking forward to the new challenges before us,”
Richard Smith, CEO of True Blue Coffee recently said.
“We began in a small space, actually a converted garage, and in less than a year, we are
at the point of moving to a larger space”, he continued. “Our sales keep improving, and
we believe that it is time to move forward”.
True Blue Coffee Roasters specializes in custom roasted Organic Fair Trade Coffees.
When asked what makes them different from other coffee roasters, the Roastmaster
replied, “We only roast small batches of coffee at one time. We do profile roasting to
ensure that each batch of coffee is consistent. Combined with our own special roasting
techniques, we are able to consistently provide the freshest and tastiest coffee on the
market.”
True Blue Coffee Roasters will be using independent sales representatives to market their
coffees. Using independent sales representatives will allow the company to bypass a
central distributor, providing their customers with the freshest coffee possible. At
present, their turn around time on coffee orders is within twenty four hours of the order
being placed. “When freshness is the key to your product, you want to basically get the
coffee from the roaster to the customer in the shortest time possible. When a rep places
an order, the coffee is roasted, packaged, and shipped within 24 hours,” the Roastmaster
explained. “Our customers expect the very best, and we strive to provide that, both in
terms of freshness and customer service.”
