To add or embed a slide show in a press release, the slide show must be first added to slideshare.net. The resulting slide show link should be mentioned in the press release. The slide show will be then automatically embedded in the press release below the slide show link using auto-sensing technology. You are free to add the slide show version of the press release, product slide show, company slide show, or any other type of slide show.
Here are the instructions in more detail -
The slide show link should be in the following formats below-
where slideshow_code is specific to your slide show.
Please note that no html tags should be used. Also, http:// should be used instead of https://
The slide show link must be in the last line in any paragraph or be in a single line, for proper formatting.
For proper press release formatting, the slide show link must appear after first 500 characters if there is no image in the press release, and after first 1000 characters if an image is added to the press release. Logos added through business profile are exempt from this condition.
The embedded slide show will be visible in preview mode during submission process. If you don't see the slide show in preview, you won't see it after the press release is published.
If you see a big blank space below the slide show link instead of the slide show, then you may have an incorrect slide show link. You can test the slide show link simply by pasting it in your web browser.
