Super Moms with Sickle Cell Inc. Presents: The Flashback Fashion Showcase

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Super Moms with Sickle Cell, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in need due to moms in the midst of sickle cell crisis. This is done through preparation and motivation in order to help keep these families in-tact. The charitable group is hosting the Flashback into Fashion Showcase to help raise awareness about sickle cell anemia, a debilitating disease which affects the African American Community.

The foundation, which was established in 2013 in Milwaukee, WI also acts as a support group. It provides much needed support for the families of moms with sickle cell anemia. This Milwaukee-based non-profit also supports those moms as they struggle to maintain families, advocacy, school, work and more.

Repeating Last Year’s Sickle Cell Awareness Success
In 2015, Super Moms with Sickle Cell hosted a charitable fashion event in St. Petersburg, FL in hopes of raising awareness within the local community. According to the non-profit, this event, which was named the Phenomenal Women Fashion Showcase, was a major success. It not only increased awareness about sickle cell itself, but about the hard-working supermoms who struggle to keep up with everyday tasks while dealing with sickle cell crisis.

The Phenomenal Women Fashion Showcase of 2015 appealed to more than 1,000 US viewers. According to the sickle cell anemia non-profit, this was due in part to its connection with Empress Tia Lofton, accredited plus-sized designer of Majestic Plus Clothing®, a clothing line which offers apparel for the “plus sized Diva.”

Super Moms with Sickle Cell Hosts Flashback into Fashion Showcase 2016
This year, the event will focus on talented divas located within the Tampa Bay area. The aim is to help the charitable foundation achieve nationwide success. Then, the organization will have what it takes to help other sickle cell anemia foundations across the country.

Because of last year’s fashion showcase success, the Super Moms with Sickle foundation has chosen to do it again. The name of the 2016 2^nd annual fashion showcase will be Flashback into Fashion. Its theme will take viewers on a trip back in time, showcasing fashion from the 20^th Century.
