Old West Antiques Partners with Upper Deck, the Sports & Entertainment Card Co.
Upper Decks 2013 Goodwin Champion’s Museum Collection Relic Cards go "Old West" and Old West Antiques helps make it happen.
HUGO, Minn. - Aug. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Old West Antiques teams up with Upper Deck on their latest installment of the Goodwin Champion's Museum Collection Relic Cards series.
Rob Ford, Project Coordinator, at Upper Deck contacted the owner of Old West Antiques, Robert Wood back in October of 2012. Rob explained Upper Decks promotion and Mr. Wood jumped at the opportunity to work with such a respected company. Over the next several months Rob & Bob put together a collection of outstanding items from the Old West period, items ranging from dice & poker chips to an extremely rare 1876 calendar and a gambler's vest to name a few of the items.
Upper Deck designed an appropriate card for the collection and housed each card and relic in a stylish shadow type box. Included on many of the boxes is an actual photo of the item each relic came from along with an historic description on the back of the box.
The Goodwin Champion's Museum series has been a very big hit with Upper Deck customers, which started in 2011. Last years series covered the Civil War period and discussions about the 2014 series are already taking place.
