Anderson, Hamman and Stillwell present “Satisfying Sponsors” at February 12 FPRA meeting

The FPRA, SW FL Chapter will present “Satisfying Sponsors” on Feb 12. Kevin Anderson, Brian Hamman and Jessica Stillwell will present the business side of fundraising, identifying what their companies expect from the organizations they support.
Jan. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), Southwest Florida Chapter will present a program on “Satisfying Sponsors” at the February 12 luncheon. The lunch and program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Speakers Kevin Anderson, Brian Hamman, and Jessica Stillwell will present the business side of fundraising, identifying what their companies expect from the organizations they support. Attendees will learn how to think beyond typical sponsor benefits in order to better satisfy their sponsors—and keep them coming back, year after year!

Kevin Anderson is a Senior Manager for National Store Support Center Operations Group of Chico’s FAS, Inc.  He joined Chico’s after a 25-year career with the Fort Myers Police Department. Anderson currently serves on the board of the Southwest Florida Safety Council and was appointed to the Children’s Services Council of Lee County by Governor Chiles. He also formerly served on the board of Coalition for Drug Free Southwest Florida and the Lee County Chapter of the American Red Cross and was chair of the State of Florida Juvenile Justice Standards and Training Commission. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Louisville Southern Police Institute, Edison Community College and Florida Gulf Coast University.  

Brian Hamman is the Market Development Manager at CenturyLink, where he manages public relations, corporate sponsorships, philanthropy, community relations and local government affairs for nine area counties. He secures sponsorships and builds relationships with organizations to ensure CenturyLink stands out on the area’s crowded social calendar. Hamman holds a bachelor degree in communications from Florida Gulf Coast University and was formerly a TV news anchor in Fort Myers and Joplin, MO.

Jessica Stillwell is the Vice President of Marketing at FineMark National Bank & Trust. She handles branding guidelines and standards, printed collateral, advertising, web content, events, sponsorships and donations for FineMark’s seven offices in Florida and Arizona. Stillwell studied broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California and was formerly a local TV news reporter and anchor for 12 years.

The cost to attend the luncheon meeting is $20 for members, $25 for nonmembers, and $10 for students with advance reservations. Reservations at http://www.fpraswfl.org. Walk-ins are welcome for an additional $5.
