“Kate Dillon or Kate Moss?”

By Lucee-Stacy -- As John Reyer of LMLA-ink prepares to dish out Supermodel “Ish,” his latest character in his next eBook “West End Girl,” we ask him about his preference when it comes to women.

Feb. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- John Fontain of SKIHIPR is kind enough to comment on the subject for us, and as we hang on the line as he calls out to the author, we hear Simply Red’s “Sunrise” in the background, giving us a clue to LMLA-ink’s culture, before the mouthpiece for John Reyer Afamasaga gives us his response.

“He likes them real, like you see on the street.”

The answer is not fabricated. “Or are Fontain and John Reyer playing with me?” I ask myself as I shorthand the answer on my notepad.

I advise Fontain that I have downloaded “The Guy” Kindle eBook, and that I would like the opportunity to ask John Reyer himself a few questions about the fabulous tale and also to follow up on rumors that the Girl, or Ish is real.

I hear the phone being placed down, and then, “Hey, how’s it?” as the music in the background starts again. I have to place the smart phone on which I’m reading John Reyer’s GUIOPERA II to my chest momentarily until his greeting reverberates through me. I quickly gather my senses and fire off my list of questions, before I backtrack and succumb to whatever reason he has chosen to come to the phone.

“Kate Dillon or Kate Moss?” I wait for his response, which I predict correctly will be in the form of a question: “Who’s Kate Dillon?”

“I loved ‘The Guy,’ I tell him, changing the subject. “I’ve read it twice already. Is ‘West End Girl’ going to be pure Chick Lit, or is going to be in keeping with your style?”

“What Style?” Again he doesn’t disappoint the picture I have of him, an elusive artist, and reluctant star.

I count myself lucky and pop the next question as if it’s my last, “Is the Girl/Ish, real. Is there someone special, a muse who inspired you to write ‘The Guy’?”

“You’ve read it twice; do you think I could’ve pulled it out of thin air?”

I hear him put the phone down, and then Fontain comes back on.

“Ish is real; she’s inside each and every woman, Lucee. Inner Beauty is what she is…”
