School of Digital Arts inaugurated by award-winning Film Director Bharat Bala

UJJAIN, India - June 14, 2023 - PRLog -- The School of Digital Arts was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri Bharat Bala on 12th June 2023 at the University campus. The inauguration was done by lighting a lamp amidst Vedic Chanting in the SDA classroom in the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Rane, Registrar Dr. Manesh Patil, Dean, School of Digital Arts, Dr. Hemant Kaushik, Professor Emeritus Kirti Trivedi, esteemed faculty members, students, and parents. Shri Bharat Bala also delivered an inaugural lecture explaining the path to excellence.

In the evening, Shri Bharat Bala addressed the Design Orientation Program, Aarambh 2023, in the Orientation Week for the academic session 2023-24. In his captivating address, Shri Bala talked about his work Vande Mataram with A R Rehman, Lata Mangeshkar, and other maestros. Shri Bala also shared his approach, thoughts, ideas, and insights about his acclaimed award-winning works with aspiring designers.He encouraged the faculty members and all the students to take the initiative and be a part of creative works and concluded his talk.

While interacting with the media, Bharat Bala said, "Avantika University is a world-class campus where students come from all around the country, and the faculty members are amongst the best faculty in the world". He mentioned that the students here will learn in a free atmosphere and studies will not be a burden for them which will help them to achieve success in their careers. Shri Bala spoke about the unique Project-based learning model and how the entire learning process is important with the facilities offered to the students. Concluding his interaction, Shri Bala added that the residential campus of the University will facilitate cultural exchange and exchanging ideas among the students that will eventually assist their individual growth beyond academic growth.

Shri Bharat Bala ji is an acclaimed and award-winning film director. He is the person behind the cinematic and wonderful visuals behind A R Rehman's Vande Mataram and album Jana Gana Mana's video. Amongst countless award-winning films that he has directed, he was the man behind the music video of the official song of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Jiyo Utho Bado Jeeto, and also the opening ceremony of the games.

Avantika University is India's first Design Centered University, promoted by MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, which has a proven legacy of 40+ years in the field of higher education. The university was established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, through an Act of the State Legislature in 2017. The university is approved by UGC.
