AlHuda CIBE Organized Tanzanian Islamic Banking and Finance Award in Dar-es-Salam Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAAM, Tanzania - April 3, 2017 - PRLog -- National Islamic Banking and Finance awards" distribution ceremony in Tanzania was celebrated on 29th of  March 2017 on the occasion of 4th African Islamic Finance Summit organized by Al-Huda Center of Islamic Banking & Economics (CIBE) at Hyatt Regency, Dar Es Salam, Tanzania with a specific purpose to encourage Islamic banking & Finance Industry as well as to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals and institutions within Islamic Finance industry locally. Various award categories conferred upon the winners include: Award for The Best Islamic Bank was awarded to Dr. Muhsin Masoud Salim M.D of Amana Bank Ltd, Award for The Best Window Operation was awarded to Mr. Rashid H. H. Rashid from KCB Bank,  The Best Islamic Microfinance Institution was awarded to Mr. Faiz Hussain CEO from Imaan Microfinance, similarly The Best Technology provider award to Mr. Mesam Rizvi from Technology Associate Ltd, The Best Islamic Finance Education provider award was given to Zanzibar University,  Muslim university of Morogoro was given an encouraging award titled Welcoming InstituteAward , Motivational Award to initialize Takaful in Tanzanian Industry was given to Mr. Mohsin Hussain from Tanzania Takaful, The Best Retail banking Awardwas given toNational Bank of Commerce in Tanzania, Lifetime Achievement Award was given to  Mr. Aref M. Nahdi for Imaan TVfor their overall rich contribution towards Islam furthermore the Best Sharia'h Advisor Award was given to two personalities including Mr. Mohamed Hafidh Khalfan from Zanzibar Insurance Corporation and Mr. Khalfan Abdallah Salim from  Gulf African Bank Kenya, the Best Personality of the year award was conferred upon  Mr. Othman Ali Kaporo Further The Women Empowerment Award was given to Mrs. Sophia Mwakagenda , The Best Contributor to Industry award to Mr.Asim Hameed Khan for paving a path as well as example for others and the Award for initiating Takaful Industry in Tanzania was delivered toZanzibar Insurance Corporation"for taking innovative initiatives to strengthen and promote Islamic Finance Industry.
