Total Access Urgent Care Expanding Into Wentzville

Dr. Matthew Bruckel founded Total Access Urgent Care in 2008. His decade-long service as an emergency medicine physician fueled his desire to create a practice that focuses on each patient’s experience. Dr. Bruckel handpicks top-notch staff led by board certified physicians who are trained to diagnose and treat any level of emergent medical presentation. TAUC provides a distinctly different urgent care experience with the ability to operate as a low-acuity emergency room that has dramatically lower prices.

Walk-in patients are welcome every single day of the year, including holidays. Eighty-five percent of patients are registered, evaluated, examined, tested, counseled, treated and discharged in less than 1 hour. Patients also have access to TAUC’s onsite pharmacy, alleviating the hassle and time associated with making an additional trip to pick-up prescribed medications.

Teams at TAUC start IVs for both fluids and medications, perform EKGs, run over 30 lab tests onsite, suture lacerations, reduce dislocations, splint fractures, drain abscesses, and perform digital X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
