The clients are able to send and receive funds in 45 cities and small towns. In Guinea, the number of locations is over 500, in 33 provinces. 50 locations available in Nigeria, 20- in Gambia and 3 - in the capital of Sierra Leone. The services include sms-notification and phone assistance. "We are happy about the successful completion of the joint project. Both parties trust that the joint project plays an important social role in the continent where the GDPs of many countries vitally depend on volumes of money transfers. “Development of money transfer corridors in Africa is an important task, given how much the population in the vast number of countries [in the continent] depends on the money, their loved ones send from Europe,” said the president for Tempo Money Transfer, Jeffrey Phaneuf. He also stressed that Tempo have diligently been working on their services, to be an important financial inclusion for people with lower income, not only in Africa, but globally. “Our priorities are European quality and reliability with accent on low transaction costs for wires. This makes for effective decrease in the black market and bringing the transactions into the open, regulated sphere. This benefits the host country's economies and our customers,” Phaneuf said.
