*The most successful leaders are passionate about their employees' potential, understand the importance of caring, instill a sense of manageable intensity into their workplace cultures, and know how to frame perceptions to create motivation.

*When certainty is undermined by indecision, inconsistency, poor communication, or mismanagement of change, employees' sense of purpose is negatively impacted.
