Bryn Mawr Day, 2015 Promises to be Main Line’s #1 Free Family Fun Day!

July 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Bryn Mawr Day, with its focus on free family festivities, entertainment and “a taste of Bryn Mawr” foods and restaurants, is back bigger than ever. Bryn Mawr Day, 2015, is Saturday, September 12, from 9 am to 2 pm, rain or shine. The event takes place in the parking lot across from Luddington Library, at Lancaster Avenue and Bryn Mawr Avenues.

“A Taste of Bryn Mawr” is a highlight of this annual Main Line attraction and family day. With major restaurants, café’s, and specialty food venues, Bryn Mawr Day is an ideal way to gain recognition and fans through sampling, coupons and other creative mechanisms that food vendors utilize to build customers and visibility. Many food vendors return year after year because they have found that there is such a positive return for their participation at this 5-hour event.

Michelle Bogosian, chairperson of Bryn Mawr Day, and Vice President of The Camera Shop in Bryn Mawr, is enthusiastic about this annual event.  “Bryn Mawr Day, with its array of events, activities, entertainment and talent, also features a wide range of restaurants, businesses, organizations and heath care practices. This provides an ideal opportunity for the entire community to get to know each other better, for residents to learn about the wealth of resources they have in their own backyard and businesses to learn more about what residents need and want in local service provision. Bryn Mawr Day is an important conduit in bridging the historical and contemporary…the old and the young…the institutions and organizations. It brings people together in so many ways.”

Vendors, as in the past, must supply their own tables, chairs (if needed), and other specific display items needed.

Bogosian points out the strong value in the set-up structure for the day.  “Restauranteurs, organizational representatives, and a host of local businesses are set up side by side and have an excellent opportunity for networking and sharing resources.

We have had a number of organizations use restaurant facilities subsequenttoBryn Mawr Day, for parties and events, taking advantage of  the opportunity to get to know local venues and owners on a personal basis.”  Vendors seeking space for the event, should be a part of the Bryn Mawr Business Association.By being a member of the Bryn Mawr Business Association, a vendor will given complementary space at the event.
