NEW DELHI - July 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Taking data and cloud to another level of enterprise access, and making India mark itself on the global cloud map, the country’s largest data center network, Reliance Group has launched its next-gen content and cloud delivery network, Cloud X, in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Cloud X facilitates infrastructure provisioning in a whole new way. It allows multi-tiered enterprise apps to be hosted directly on enterprise networks, with the average turnaround as low as a few minutes. This enables government offices and departments to amplify their compute power access by as much as 240 times while high-speed storage capacity goes up six times over.

"Cloud X is changing the paradigm of cloud computing. The network must now undergo a profound transformation, from a static entity to a dynamic, intelligent, applicationaware fabric that can support multiple traffic requirements, diverse geographies and flexible pricing models," RCom (Enterprise) and Global Cloud Xchange CEO Bill Barney told in a statement.

Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani had first made known his vision of digitalization India wherein he also vowed to invest Rs 10,000 crore into cloud and telecom space expansion which included setting up five fully-operational Cloud Xchange points across the country by the end of the year.
Reliance Group already has 11 cloud-based data centers (the most in the country) that allow data storage and processing; Cloud X will help optimizing these data centers for quick storage and data processing.

According to Barney, Reliance Group’s cloud network will be further optimized to support all traffic requirements and provide bespoke pricing models so that the clients draw maximum mileage and value for money spent.

Along with the 11 data centers to its credit, Reliance Group also has a massive cloud infrastructure network with a combined area spanning 600,000 square feet across the country. The centers are knit together by a highly complex terrestrial fiber network, which is India’s largest, to go with the world’s largest sub-sea cable infrastructure.
