July 1, 2015 - PRLog -- 1st July 2015: SHRM, the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management, hosted a CHRO Roundtable in association with Cornerstone OnDemand, a global leader in cloud-based talent management software solutions.  The topic of the interactive session was ‘Is your organization realizing it’s true potential: Is your talent strategy a facilitator or a road block’. The key address at the session was delivered by Mr. Adam Miller, President and CEO, Cornerstone OnDemand. The Roundtable witnessed participation by over 20 CHROs from diverse industries.

The key agenda of the conference was focused on addressing the fact that learning strategies hold the key to organisation’s talent and business goals. Some of the eminent industry stalwarts who took part in this exhaustive and insightful discussion, moderated by Mr Animesh Kumar, Group Head - Human Resources and Corporate Services at IDFC were Mr Rajesh Lele, ‎Head - e-HR Projects at Tata Motors; MrAnupam Hans, VP and Group Head, Talent Acquisition at Edelweiss., Prashant Srivastava President Group HR and People Excellence at Reliance ADA Group , Chunduru Srinivas, CHRO, Piramal and Aniruddha Khekale, Group Director Human Resource at Emerson Process Management

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sudhir Gadh, Advisor, SHRM India, said, “We are delighted to organize this roundtable in association with a global talent management software solutionsleader. The event served as a platform for HR leaders to come together and share their thoughts and experiences on the necessity of right talent strategies for holistic growth and development.”

Mr Adam Miller, President & CEO of Cornerstone OnDemand, shared his insights on evolution of Talent Management and its relevance in current times across global economies and sectors. He emphasized on the increasing need for organizations to identify, develop and retain talent and how technology can be an enabler in achieving business goals more effectively. Adam also spoke about significance of transparency while assessing performance of employees.

Mr Miller was joined by Mr Vivek Paranjpe, Advisor to Reliance Industries on Strategic HR matters who spoke about the importance of humanization of talent strategies and their impact on achieving business goals. A comprehensive talent strategy not only helps in addressing the aims and objectives of the organization but is also linked to its business strategy.

The round table discussion witnessed a series of engaging and fruitful discussions that will help the participants in devising the right and effective talent strategies for their organizations, which will help in setting a path of accelerated growth.
