By the time Beth makes it home during her regular afterschool time, her parents are dressed up and on their way out the door to meet another couple for dinner. However, before leaving, Mr. Nolan gives his famous parental warning that every teen hears when their parents leave the house. “No friends allowed over while we’re away!!”

With that, Mr. and Mrs. Nolan walk out the door and hop in the car to join in the meet the other couple. However, not long after they leave, the doorbell rings and it’s Christian. Beth invites him in and they sit on the couch for a few minutes as she wonders what brings him over. “What are you doing here?” she asks. “Well…” he says while looking at the floor. “I had a great time with you today, but there’s something that I forgot to do before you left...” “What’s that?” she asks. Without uttering a word, Christian leans in and kisses Beth smack dab on the lips.

At the same time that the teenagers are kissing, they hear what sounds like fireworks going off, but quickly realizes it’s just a pair of keys are jingling outside the door. Suddenly it swings open. Realizing that he’d left his wallet on the counter, Mr. Nolan had decided to come back home to retrieve it, but instead, he sees his daughter locking lips with the dreaded boyfriend. Rage comes over him and he lunges toward Christian. Christian, wasting no time, jumps out the window and Mr. Nolan jumps out after him. The rest is history…
