Globi Web Solutions Adds User-Requested Features to GlobiFlow for Podio

CALGARY, Alberta - April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Globi Web Solutions has added several new features to GlobiFlow for Podio, its automation service for Citrix Podio, over the past month.

“This makes GlobiFlow even more powerful,” said Andreas Huttenrauch, chief digital strategist for Globi Web Solutions. “We are always listening to our users, and strive to both anticipate and respond to their needs so that Citrix Podio works for them.”

Podio is a workflow management platform; Globiflow allows users to automate their Podio workspaces based on triggers, filters and actions.

The latest round of updates includes several upgrades to the user interface, including live previewing of PDFs from the PDF editor using Podio data. This allows users to construct and format PDFs much more quickly, Huttenrauch explained. Another new feature allows users to easily see which flow automations are interacting with any given app, allowing for better troubleshooting and visualization of potential problems, as well as auditing of automated data changes.

But the “most welcome addition,” according to Huttenrauch, is a custom function allowing for parsing of text data in Podio using regular expressions. In practice, that means users can parse data from incoming emails.

“We built GlobiFlow about 18 months ago, and since then both our user base and the feature set of GlobiFlow have been steadily growing,” Huttenrauch said. He shared that feedback from users has been overwhelmingly positive.

“This solidifies our position as the major player in the Podio add-ons market,” Huttenrauch concluded. “Many of our users have told us they wouldn’t even be using Podio if it weren’t for GlobiFlow; Podio's native workflows are very weak in comparison, and in many cases, GlobiFlow is cheaper for our users than having to buy into a higher Podio plan.”
