No.1 in iPad books App Store Ireland

Scribbaloo Limited is proud to present Scribbaloo Train, a kids app made from real stuff like paper and card, felt and foil, lollipop sticks and sticky tape!

Scribbaloo Train, an interactive picture book, aimed at kids aged 2+, has launched on the App Store worldwide. Children help to build a train and complete ten lovingly crafted interactive scenes made from original art and craft materials. Scribbaloo Train has carefully thought out animations, sounds and music on every page with simple-to-use, intuitive interactivity for little fingers. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements in Scribbaloo Train.

“With Scribbaloo Train, we wanted to craft something beautifully simple and intuitive for younger children. We feel, as artists and parents, that a lot of apps in the five and under category on the App Store are way too complicated and have too many bells and whistles, which can really over-excite younger kids,”explains co-founder Fionnuala Hanahoe, “with this in mind, Scribbaloo Train is designed to engage kids in a more focused way, allowing space for them and their parents to interact and talk about the train’s journey, the scenes and what they are made of.”

On the first page of the app, children help to build a little train and put a toy dog, pig and dinosaur on board. When this task is finished they press a button, and hey presto, the train starts to animate and kids can follow it from scene to scene. Children help complete these scenes, which include a city with buildings made from fabric, foil and recycled materials, the countryside with cotton wool sheep that bop to music, a paper forest with birds tweeting in the trees, a flower field with a buzzy bee, mountains made from old bits of old jumper and jeans and the desert with cardboard camels gazing at the stars. There are ten scenes in total and Scribbaloo Train is a perfect introductory app for kids aged 2-4.

Scribbaloo Train is priced at €2.69/$2.99 and is currently available to download on:
