Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic 2014

Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Commonwealth Motors sponsorship highlights sweeping to Christmas Basketball Tourneys.

For the Second year in a row Commonwealth Motors is the proud sponsor and host of the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic Basketball tournament. The past years tournament was a huge success and we're shooting for the stars with 2014!

Sixteen teams (eight boys and eight girls) and over 300 players, coaches and team managers gathered together to celebrate at our banquet.

For the past four years, the banquets were just for seniors or captains. This is the second year the complete boys and girls teams gathered together.

It was all part of the coming together for the second year and future years to continue the tradition of the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic.

Tournament sponsor Charlie Daher, owner of Commonwealth Motors, gave out a $1,000 scholarship to a senior on each of the tourney teams.


The new committee believes the new energy and Commonwealth Motors’ generosity could bring a return to the glory years, when the boys tourney was frequently called the best tourney of its kind in New England.
