Dec. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- HobbyTron announced today a charitable giving program to benefit children in the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA. Beginning Friday December 11, HobbyTron will release a handpicked selection of remote control toys for their One-for-One campaign. For every One-for-One toy bought, HobbyTron will send a toy to a child at the Mattel’s Children Hospital.  Working with the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, HobbyTron will help bring comfort and cheer to thousands of children receiving care at the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA.

Shoppers of the One-for-One toys will also be encouraged to share their toy on Twitter, Facebook and Instagarm with the hashtag #OneforOneHobbyTron. The more shoppers share, the more exposure the HobbyTron One-for-One campaign will receive, influencing people to join this charitable cause.

The One-for-One HobbyTron is expected to give thousands of children remote control toys this Christmas, and we hope that with your help, we can spread the word and reach thousands more children this holiday season. Lets make a change to a child’s life, and bring more smiles this season.

About Mattel’s Children Hospital UCLA:

Hospitals can be a confusing and frightening environment for a child.  Chase Child Life Program at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA seeks to ease that fear
by familiarizing young children, adolescents and their families with the hospital experience. Child Life Specialist professionals are an essential part of the healthcare team, and work with pediatric patients to help them cope with their illness and hospitalization. They provide accurate and age-appropriate
information to the patient and parents, identify potential sources of stress, and plan and practice coping strategies. UCLA’s Child Life Program has been a pioneer and a national model for how to appropriately address the social, emotional and developmental needs of each child and his/her family in a culturally sensitive manner.
