Park Hyatt Seoul’s “Festive Afternoon Tea Buffet”

GANGNAM-GU, South Korea - Nov. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Offering stunning city views and natural sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows on the 24th floor, Park Hyatt Seoul’s The Lounge presents “Festive Afternoon Tea Buffet" from December 4 to 28. The buffet will feature a variety of homemade desserts, premium coffee or teas and a glass of Louis Roederer champagne or glühwein to make the end of the year even more special and luxurious. There will be a special Christmas carol trio performance by local English school students on December 6.

Available daily from 2:00pm to 5:30pm, the festive afternoon tea buffet will offer unique desserts, carefully made by Park Hyatt Seoul’s pastry chefs, including choux, bomboloncini(Italian doughnut), passionfruit-muscadine, strawberry-coconut lolly, fresh seasonal fruit tarts, berry salad with raspberry jelly on white chocolate lime mousse, yuzu coconut pannacotta, Italian panettone, Christmas cookies and Marzipan Stollen(German Christmas cake) and more. While enjoying the sweets on the buffet table, exquisite savories, will be served to each table to arouse your appetites. These treats will include basil toast with dried tomato spread and burrata cheese; cereal bread with cooked ham, brie, truffle and fig; beetroot bread with egg salad and chives; and rye bread with brioche, tuna and pepper confit.

To complement the desserts, The Lounge will offer ‘Hediard’ premium teas from France (the favorite tea brand of French royal families and famous celebrities) or ‘Lavazza’ coffees (a brand of Italian espresso). For an extra charge, guests can add a glass of Louis Roederer champagne known as the “emperor’s champagne,” or glühwein (a traditional beverage that is offered hot during the winter season, made with red wine, fruits, spices and sugar). The “Festive Afternoon Tea Buffet” is priced at KRW 40,000 per person, or with a glass of champagne additionally included KRW 60,000. Prices include 10% tax. No service charge applies.
