The power units of the Novovoronezhskaya NPP which are under construction were familiarized with as part of visit of India’s ambassador to enterprises in the Voronezh Region. The Director of the Novovoronezhskaya NP Vladimir Povarov told the guests about how the plant was developing and the plans for the future. The Indian delegation visited the observation deck of power units 6 and 7 which are being constructed. The first deputy chief engineer for new power units Viktor Vagner told the ambassador about the nature of the NPP-2006 project and the status of construction. During the visit the ambassador and the persons who accompanied him familiarized themselves with the Training Center (TC) of the Novovoronezhskaya NPP, saw the work of full-size simulators of the block control room and the emergency control room. The deputy head of the training center for personnel of the fourth stage Sergey Lyashenko told the guests about the system for personnel training of the staff for the power units 6 and 7 which are being constructed.
