FLINT, Wales - Sept. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- North Wales-based online motorsports magazine the Pit Lane Reporter is celebrating an incredible six months since its launch in March.

July’s Issue 5 download figures of sixty five thousand look set to be beaten by Issue 6 with over thirty five thousand downloads in the first 8 days of release alone. Ten thousand of those took place during the two hours of the qualifying stage of the Belgian Grand Prix.

As it has established itself as one of the UK’s most popular motorsports magazines, the Pit Lane Reporter has developed close relationships with Formula 1 and British touring car teams. It now works closely with them to bring fans the latest information and inside stories from the world of motorsports.

Thanks to the steady growth in readership, the magazine has also seen a significant increase in the amount of advertising it carries. There are several new sponsors coming on board including a major sponsor for the October issue. The Pit Lane Reporter’s rapid success and long term potential has also attracted a new investor to become involved with the magazine.

The international motorsports magazine recently moved into new premises located in Flintshire.

Editor Phil Woods says ‘The level of success we are enjoying means we have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented writers and photographers in the motorsports world. We’ve expanded our team and now have 18 people across the world working for the magazine.’

The monthly magazine is available on the Pit Lane Reporter website (http://www.pitlanereporter.com/) and via mobile apps and Kindle.
