Pros & Cons of IOS Final Year Projects

iOS 7 Phone
PRLog - Aug. 9, 2014 - CHENNAI, India -- In IOS project, it is necessary to create a variable and link the same to the corresponding element in the interface editor in order to associate the interface elements with a code.

However, if this is not carried out, neither the system nor the compiler will be able to notify the developer about this link resulting in wastage of development time due to non-working of the interface.

Though beginners are familiar and find it rather easy to use the Objective C language, utmost care needs to be taken while allocating / de-allocating and saving memory. Moreover, some of the data structures are platform specific and do not come under Objective C language.  Hence they are unavailable for iOS projects.

XCode, which is specific to MacOS is the eventual growth environment for iOS projects. Therefore a Mac machine with a minimum of 4 GB RAM and 2.5 DualCore CPU is required along with an iPhone or iPad for testing.

Despite slower processors on Apple hardware, most of the engineering students feel iOS being faster and more productive as their applications load faster in iOS devices as compared to Android platform.

The numbers of iOS apps being downloaded has exceeded Android apps downloads.  In addition, 25% of iOS apps are free enabling the developers to get higher ROI.

With the advancement in technologies, new opportunities and a wide range of tools have enabled engineering colleges to personalize their working atmosphere.
