During operation Protective Edge in Gaza, the IDF soldiers used Elpam's TPL before and after, entering suspicious structures to find out, whether there is any underground activity under the structure before the soldiers entering and during their long stay as well, as a protective measure against Hamas terrorist attacks.

The TPL 310D as proven his ability to secure the IDF troops and safe them from Surprise attacks by Hamas terrorists, it gave them the time to be ready and react, before the Hamas terrorists came out of the underground tunnels to attack them.
