Comparision between CSE & IT in Engineering

CSE or IT: Most of the students usually get confused regarding the choice between Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology. In this case, most of the students follow the crowd. Students do not have complete technical knowledge about these fields. So they need to be guided. Here are a few important tips to obtain the right comparison. Computer Science Engineering, let us remember, is one of the oldest engineering fields while Information Technology is a newly formatted and latest technical course. In Computer Science Engineering, we consider only how to build a computer and how to do work on software while in case of Information Technology, we not only consider the domain covered by Computer Engineering but also the application software as well as networking. Since, in our country, most of the companies do not produce computers, they try to import computer parts from other parts of the world. That is why in Indian market, the job opportunities in computer software are any day greater than computer hardware.  There is no doubt that the future of Information Technology and scope for jobs is vaster than most of the traditional courses like CSE. Students are, therefore, urged upon to make appropriate choice at the very outset to leverage their knowledge and its application. IT, in the given situation surely enjoys edge over the contending courses of study.
