fluidOps Releases Information Workbench and eCloudManager 5.5

WALLDORF, Germany - June 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Information Workbench, the company’s flagship product is a semantic integration platform for optimizing information, service and process lifecycle management. eCloudManager, which is based on Information Workbench, is an app for semantic data center and cloud management. The product portfolio of fluidOps also includes apps for semantic data management. Information Workbench provides a schema for agile, flexible integration. Through the platform’s open interfaces, companies can develop and implement custom-made apps for their specific requirements.

New functionalities of Information Workbench and eCloudManager

Data integration
Integrating heterogeneous data sources is now an easy, three-step process:
- Connecting data sources and various formats

- Extracting, editing and mapping data sources and different formats with a visual mapping editor

- Comparing and combining identical units of information

Statistical data management
Users can now analyze and visualize linked statistical data with the statistical programming language R.

Query catalog
Users can easily build query catalogs that map the logic of an app as well as administer reusable queries for a given domain.

Wiki-based Self-Service portal
The new wiki-based eCloudManager Self-Service portal offers a service catalog and service designer.

Graphical workflow design
Users can now easily design graphical workflows to link the different components of technical and relevant business processes. This feature is powered by Activiti, an open source workflow management system for designing and running business processes. API methods from Information Workbench can be integrated into workflows as well.

Optimized access control lists (ACLs)
This new feature makes sharing data center resources as simple as sharing Google documents.
