Day 2: Delhi This morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of the city with our English speaking guide. In the old town, explore the largest mosque in India - Jama Masjid, The Red fort and Raj Ghat -Mahatma Gandhi's Memorial. In the afternoon, explore New Delhi. You will drive past President's house and India Gate and other government buildings built under the period of British Raj. Later visit Humayun's Tomb, and the Qutub Minar, the highest sandstone minaret in the world (73 meters). Overnight at The Claridges. Day 3: Delhi – Agra (Approx 4 hrs) Drive to Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. The rest of the day is to relax or enjoy your surroundings. Overnight at ITC Mughal. Day 4: Agra – "Majestic Taj Mahal” Experience a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal with its lacy white grandeur, it is perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal remains today, as a symbol of his eternal love for his wife, Mumtaz. Continue on a city tour of Agra the impressive Red Fort Agra, in the heart of the city. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at ITC Mughal. Day 5: Agra – Jaipur (Approx 5 ½ hrs) Drive to Jaipur stopping en-route to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the former abandoned Mughal capital built by the emperor Akbar in homage to the Sufi Saint, Salim Chisti. Arriving in Jaipur, you check in at your hotel. Overnight at ITC Rajputana. Day 6: Jaipur – “The Pink City” This morning you visit the Amber Fort on elephant back, high above the town. Later you will explore the Pink City of Jaipur visitng The City Palace and the Jantar Mantar, an amazingly advanced observatory built in 1726 A.D. drive past Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. A car and driver are at your disposal for the remainder of the day for shopping or whatever you choose within the city. Overnight at ITC Rajputana Day 7: Jaipur – Delhi (Approx 5 hrs drive) After a relaxed morning, check-out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi airport. Day 8: Depart Delhi Board your flight back home. End
