May 7, 2014 - PRLog -- This 30-days program is intended for individuals with prior military, security or law enforcement experience. Emphasis is placed not only on technique, but also on how to teach others effectively. All of our instructors have completed this course. What will you learn?

Teaching Methodology
Objective: The student will know and understand how to employ various styles and methods in order to effectively instruct a class. This module provides instruction on how to present information from a variety of sources and media in a classroom setting for maximum effect and student retention of materials.

SERE
Objective: The student will know and understand how to survive in a worst case scenario, in the event that he/she should be captured by hostiles. Provides information and techniques to facilitate operator's survival and escape in the event of capture.

Tactical Medicine
Objective: The student will know and understand combat triage and battlefield first aid as it applies to common combat wounds and injuries.

Protective Security Formations
Objectives: Provides the student with a working knowledge of protective formations and the tactical responsibilities of each position on a protective detail. This portion covers walking formations and working under special circumstances. Students will know and understand how to organize protective details.

Arrivals and Departures
Objectives: Student will know and understand how to conduct motorcade radio communications and protective support of the VIP Principal during standard side arrivals and departures for all positions within the security detail.

VIP Protective Techniques
Objectives: The student will know and understand how to identify and neutralize a threat to the VIP Principal, conduct site surveys and perform advance intelligence functions.

Tactical Shooting, Pistol & Rifle
Objectives: The student will know and understand the proper way to safely and proficiently perform tactical shooting with pistols and rifles. This module includes instruction on stance, grip, sighting, draw techniques, reloading, maintenance, clearing jams and other combat shooting techniques.

Defensive Tactics
Objectives: The student will be given a working knowledge of unarmed defensive tactics. The student will be able to effectively implement techniques against armed and unarmed single or multiple attackers.

Radio Procedures
Objectives: The student will be taught a working knowledge of tactical radio procedures and security including frequencies codes, communications security and terminology.

Surveillance/ Counter-Surveillance
Objectives: The student will be given a working knowledge of terrorist surveillance techniques and effective counter surveillance procedures and tactics against surveillance. This module includes instruction on scanning, surveillance platforms, covers/disguises, surveillance detection, cover and concealment, technical surveillance tools, passive and aggressive counter surveillance maneuvers.

Counter-Ambush Techniques
Objectives: The student will be given a working knowledge of how to effectively detect and neutralize hostile ambush situations against VIP Principal and his security detail. This module includes instruction on types of ambushes, ambush-kidnap scenarios, ambush-assassination scenarios, ambush robbery scenarios and response.

Anti-Active Shooter
Objectives: The student will acquire a working knowledge of the unique characteristics of an active shooter and how to effectively respond. The student will know and understand the psychology of the active shooter and the most effective tactics for escaping or neutralizing the active shooter threat.

Kidnapped VIP Rescue/Recovery
Objectives: The student will obtain a working knowledge of the techniques and strategies involved in the rescue and recovery of a kidnapped VIP Principal held hostage by a hostile terrorist or criminal. This instruction will include proven Israeli hostage rescue tactics with practical instruction on rappelling.

Tactical Driving
Objectives: The student will understand and be proficient in elements of tactical driving as it pertains to neutralizing threats and escape from vehicular attacks. Classroom and practical training in driving techniques such as high speed cornering, reverse driving, braking and sliding techniques, frontal impact avoidance, anti roadblock techniques, take-out techniques, weight transfer and cornering, over/under-steer, high speed collisions, spin control, hydroplaning, driving on snow/ ice, off road driving and bulletproofing vehicles will be instructed.

Convoy Operations
Objectives: The student will know and understand convoy operations for protective security details in high threat environments and situations. Instruction will cover the primary objectives and components of a PSD convoy for low and high profile missions, responsibilities of each person's position in a vehicle, threat recognition, counter surveillance and counter ambush protocols, attack methodology of hostiles, shielding, screening and blocking procedures.

Sniper Counter Sniper Tactics
Objectives: The student will know and understand how to recognize and mitigate/neutralize the threat posed by hostile snipers to the VIP Principal and their security detail. Instruction will include lecture on known sniper tactics, bait tactics, sniper concealment and camouflaged placement/platforms, multiple sniper configurations, preferred weapons, sniper escape tactics, sniper detection, preventive pro-active tactics and reactive tactics.

Improvised Explosive Devices/Suicide Bombers
The student will know, understand and have a working knowledge of terrorist tactics for use of IEDs against the VIP Principal and security detail as well as detection and mitigation of same. Instructional topics will include, IED types and methodology, car bombs, search for and detection of IEDs, letter and parcel bomb recognition, basic principles of booby traps, protection from ballistic threats, operational wear and degradation. Student will also know and understand how to deal with the threat posed by suicide bombers. Instructional topics will include: the unique characteristics of the suicide threat, structure of devices, types of explosives, detection of suicide bombers, physiological signs, behavioral signs, appearance signs, reactions if detection occurs and phases of disarmament.

Terrorism
Objective: The student will know, understand and demonstrate a working knowledge of terrorist intelligence gathering techniques and the historical context of the terrorist threat.
