The 4th Annual Niagara Taste of Lavender Festival kicks-off the events season on July 12th and 13th, 2014. The event has become a Niagara tradition known to leave guests with a delightful sensory experience of taste, smell and sight. Thousands of visitors will be treated to day-long activities that include cooking demos using culinary lavender and essential oils cultivated on-site, presentation on distillation process of lavender, workshops on growing lavender and greenhouse tours. Lavender culinary delights are also available during the event featuring the newly-concocted, lavender-infused drinks.
The 3rd Annual Niagara Garlic Festival will be held on September 14, 2014. The event is rapidly becoming known in the Niagara region and beyond for celebrating this piquant bulb along with the local growers and producers. The 2014 program is shaping up to be the most “spicy” yet with events such as cooking demos, garlic braiding and more.
Attendees to all the neōb festivals will also get the opportunity to participate in the “Purple Flower Program”. neōb will be giving away a total of 10,000 lavender seedlings during the events. Participants are asked to bring the flowers back, whenever possible, so neōb can distill them into oils for their Purple FlowerTM brand. Profits from the sale of this product line will be donated to a selected charity.
