Abrar Ahmed, CPA, CGA, Promoted to Chief Financial Officer at Mary-am Group

TORONTO, April 28th, 2014- Mary-am Group of Companies announced on March 3rd, 2014, the promotion of Abrar Ahmed, an experienced accounting professional, to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

In this role, Mr. Ahmed will conceive and execute economic strategy and conduct forecasting for all divisions under the Mary-am Group umbrella. His additional functions as CFO, would include the oversight of controller duties, treasury duties, internal controls, audits and operational efficiency.

Mr. Ahmed brings many years of accounting experience with preparing audits, performance enhancements and business process improvements, compiling financial statements, and preparing corporate and personal taxes. In addition to his extensive experience,  Mr. Ahmed is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) as well as a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and is a member in good standing with the Associations.
