Officially released October 15th 2013, this exceptional project gives fans an intimate look into Arnetta’s musical range as never heard before. Writing and producing several songs on this self-titled album, Arnetta reveals talents not yet known to her faithful fan base. A Certified Life Coach, Arnetta’s passion for people moved her to write the first single on her self- titled album “Try It Again” to inspire and encourage her fans. In the video, she portrays a Guardian Angel helping others to cope and continue on through hardships they face in life. “I Am God”, the current single and re-creation of Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singer’s classic hit of the same name also featuring Arnetta Murrill-Crooms as the lead vocalist, has received stellar reviews. Arnetta has taken a leap of faith and gives fans a new look into the well- developed artist she has become. Arnetta has made a major impact in the gospel community in her region. Recently, she became the recipient of the Female Gospel Artist of the Year award at the 7th Annual Queen City Awards in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Wilmington, North Carolina native’s passion for singing arose at an early age. Having performed for numerous audiences since then, Arnetta garnered national attention when she joined Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers; and was featured on such hits as “In The Presence of A King” and “Love the Hurt Away”. She went on to perform with her siblings as The Murrill’s; receiving Grammy Award and Stellar Award nominations on their album, Family Prayer. Arnetta has also been featured on Bishop T.D. Jakes “Usher Me” as well as HBO Films Boycott soundtrack. Arnetta was Executive Producer on her self-titled album along with her son Oliver J. Crooms IV, who was recently nominated for Best Producer by the Queen City Awards.
