The honorary-basis Swiss Testing Day is a one-day conference held in Kongresshaus of Zurich. Over 700 participants have attended three parallel tracks of the conference and its extra track for event partners. Among the topics covered in reports and speeches were QA techniques, methodologies, practices, innovations, management and other issues. The schedule included two keynote addresses, several breaks and QA exhibitions for every participant.

The organizers this year searched not after experience reports, but also various interactive and enlightening contributions from the participants, too. Thus, visitors could involve in multiple innovative talks to discuss already known testing problems in some different context, or prepare user review shows which had to describe the tools, methods and approach used along with the difficulties faced and useful experiences made.

Objectives

Starting with 2006, the Swiss Testing Day event is annually organized to give QA stakeholders a chance to communicate their colleagues all over the globe outside the office. This year hundreds of attendees used this as an opportunity for pleasant cooperation, professional QA communication and source of testing ideas.
