Enhance SharePoint Lookup with BoostSolutions Cascaded Lookup 5.0

SharePoint Cascaded lookup acts as an enhanced  lookup column that enables users to implement a cross-site, cascaded or filtered lookup, broadening their lookup scope and at the same time trimming down their choices. Users can create new items without the trouble of going the target list.

This new version of Cascaded Lookup brings  five major enhancements. First, it provides a table view, where users can have an organized, sorted, and CRM-Like display of referenced items and additional data. Second, users can build a bi-directional connection between lists via reverse lookup, so that they can view, maintain and navigate to connected items from both sides. Third, Cascaded lookup field can be used by “Calculated column” to perform calculations, which is not available with out-of -the-box SharePoint Lookup. Fourth, the target column types are expanded to support “Person or Group” and document “Name”, which can be very practical. Finally, users can mark Cascaded Lookup columns with icons for easy identification.
