SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic - Jan. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Expatriate Medicine has gone live on the crowd funding site Indiegogo in hopes of raising enough capital to establish an Expat medical clinic to teach some local local physicians new technological applications, provide medical services for the English speaking visitors, and expatriates that are residing the Dominican Republic.

With your help this clinic can become a reality for those who are visiting or residing in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.....Where English speaking visitors, and expatriates are actually able to receive medical care their native tongue. What we plan to accomplish:
Expatriate Medicine will be a direct or personal care service practice. It will involve extended, relaxed visits, in other words no more rushed visits or long waits since the practice is limited to specific number of patients. You won't feel rushed through an appointment, and there's never a question you won't have time to ask. Part of the relationship you'll build with your Doctor is based on your understanding of your care.

When you're sick, and away from home, or can't get to the office; in the age of tele-medicine, many illnesses can be diagnosed, and treated with a simple conversation by phone or webcam. Our direct care service will be as close to having a doctor in the family as you can without having to pay for medical school.
