Jan. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Hindus have offered New Year’s greetings to the world.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today; wished peace, liberty, love, happiness and justice for the world during 2014.

We pray that 2014 bring hope and trust in which we, the people, flourish and build a new just world; devoid of inequalities, poverty and prejudices; Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, notes.

We, although from diverse faith traditions and but from the same human family, are headed in the same direction. Despite our serious differences, we should respect and love one another, display solidarity, work for each other’s well-being and be kinder, Rajan Zed stresses.

Zed states: We, the people, can shape our destiny and change the world for better. Make a resolution to steadily improve yourself, refuse to give up on your path to righteousness, make efforts to replace war and violence with reconciliation and dialogue, and bring positive change.

We would continue to push for Hindu values of peace, love, kindness, magnanimity and compassion, during 2014, Rajan Zed points out.

Re-energize and be an uplifting and positive example in our journeys for others to follow and spread the spirit of hope. We, the different faiths and including non-believers, should join hands to solve the humanity’s common problems and strengthen one another, Zed adds in New Year message.
